There is  a large scale of shops offering to visitors a large range of goods  from a typical Czech souveniers to consumer goods. The opening hours are approx. from 10 a.m.- 8 p.m. (9 p.m.).

Big shops with food are usually opened  from 7 a.m.- 8 p.m.

Souvenirs shops in the centre of Prague have opening hours from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. or even until 10 p.m. These are mostly shops located near the main touristic routes.

Big shopping centres are mostly opened from 9 a.m.- 8 p.m. on working days, on weekends from 9 a.m.- 9 p.m.

Besides it in Prague there are several market places below opened sky. The market places are opened every day all the time from 10 a.m.- 6 p.m..

In the centre of Prague there are significant markets in the first place markets located on the Wenceslas and the Old Town Squares. The markets are usually held on the occasion of important holidays like Easter, Christmas and other.

There is also the Gallen´s market (Havelské tržiště) located in the centre of Prague. The market is opened every day and offers a large variety of cheap and nice souveniers for tourists.
