The Tour is dedicated to a history of Prague Castle. Foundation of Prague Castle goes back to the 9th century when first historically documented prince Bořivoj, the first member of Přemyslid dynasty, decided to build a castle on a hill above Vltava river. Today Prague Castle is considered as the largest castle in the world from a point of view of the area. It covers territory of 7 hectares. During this tour you will get to know Prague Castle in detail. You will visit Hradčany Square, then four Castle courtyards, including Castle´s interiors like St. Vitus Cathedral, the Old Royal Palace, Saint George´s Basilica and the Golden Lane.
